LEU-TRONIC - Product Recovery Systems
The Leu-Tronic PACK-SAVER range of product recovery equipment is designed to cleanly separate products such as: Candies,
Chewing Gum, various powders, coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolate bars etc.. from its packing material for recycling or re-packing.
There are a number of reasons why faulty packages and re-work need to be recovered as for example due to waste generated at
start-ups, faulty coding, defective weights, returned merchandise due to expired "best-before-use-dates.
Leu-Tronic PACK-SAVER enables a fast return on investment by eliminating manual labor and reducing cost of unpacking the
faulty package contents, recovering cost of ingredients and/or finished products, helping to reduce cost of waste management
by separating packing for recycling.
The PACK-SAVER uses a special adjustable rotating tear-of rail system to open the packages. The product specific shape of
the rotating rail system, along with the respective sorting chamber and adjustable air stream, all serve to efficiently separate
contents of the opened wrapper, and remove the empty wrapping material out of the machine. The separated contents are
transported onto a vibratory conveyor with integrated sieve, which is further equipped with additional exhaust manifold to
extract any stray wrapping material that may have entered the product stream.
Wrapped products are continuously fed into the PACK-SAVER machine
via screw elevator.
Extracted products are conveyed over the vibratory sieve
aggregate equipped with exhaust manifold to remove any
residual packing materials
